The honest answer on WordPress
WordPress is the right call when the site is mostly content, the team wants to edit it without a developer, and you need it up quickly with a known set of features. We build WordPress sites, customize themes, and handle hosting and support, and for a lot of marketing sites that is genuinely the best tool.
It is the wrong call when the site is really an application, when performance or security matter a lot, or when plugins start stacking up to fake features that custom code would do cleanly. At that point a custom build is cheaper over time and far easier to maintain. We will tell you which side of that line you are on rather than selling you whichever we feel like building.
